What Even Is A Life Coach?
In my opinion, I have the perfect job for me. I am a Certified Life Coach through The Life Coach School. I have spent the last few years learning coaching tools, how to use them, how to start a business, and coaching my little heart out. I LOVE coaching. It has changed my life. Now, I have the honor of helping my clients change theirs.
Many have asked me what is a life coach and how is it different than a therapist? Great question. A therapist helps someone when they are functioning below baseline. They diagnose mental illness or other problems. The goal with therapy is to go from dysfunction to function. It is often focused on the past. Coaching on the other hand focuses on the present and the future. A life coach helps a functioning client take it up a notch to the next level and beyond. We help people solve problems, achieve the results they desire in their lives, show up as the person they really want to be, and become the best version of themselves. Many clients use both a therapist and a Life Coach.
Along with general life coaching, I help LDS Women in mixed faith marriages keep their faith and find connection in their marriage without having to change their husband. If you are struggling with anger, resentment, and are having a tough time moving forward I can help you. I get it. I use these same tools in my mixed faith marriage and would love to help you in yours. Email me and let's set up a free consultation.
